The New Witch AO with Magic Broom!

This is an updated version of my old Witch AO. Its the same AO, BUT, now it has a magic broom! The Magic Broom includes a HUD that gives the broom its magic powers. There are 10 special effects inside, like thunderstorms, and candy rain, and crow and butterfly emitters. Something for both good, and bad witches.

Because I realize some of you don't want to buy the AO itself twice, I also put out the broom by itself- it will give you all the magic you need to compliment the former Witch AO if you have it.

This Hat is so funny.. wear it, click it, and it will jump off your head and run in a circle around you before hopping back onto your head!

The SBS item that was for sale over the weekend is now available to buy in the store! These old school candy pails are filled with both tricks AND treats. Click the pail and take your pick, your friends can click the pail but shhhhh don't tell them which is the tricks and which are the treats. *snickers*

We have a Gacha machine down in the store now! The prizes inside are these Shoulder Spiders! These little guys are so cute! They are 35L in the Gacha (located beside the Lucky Board)- there is 3 Common spiders, 1 Rare, and 1 Secret Spider! Collect them all!

On a quick side note, there are new items inside the lucky board, hurrah! You can win a bunch of Halloween/autumn stuff from recent releases, come check it out.

Please note that the huggable Morbid Molly is available for 60L for Super Bargain Saturday until tomorrow (October 9th) night at midnight SLT.

The little brown flying bats are super cute, temp rezzing so they won't affect your prim count, configurable, and copyable! They are available as just an emitter, or along with the Morbid Molly Scarecrow.

The Circling Crows are a must for your fall decor. They are copyable, so set them out anywhere you'd like and watch them swoop and fly. They are available as the crows only, or along with Scarecrow Jack.

Fall Release Deux!

3 New Releases

This is a fun way to drive traffic to your land, and give back to the community as well. It has 5 stages of leaf raking until the leaves are bagged and it starts all over again. It is configurable including anti-afk checks for no sleeping on the job! You can set your own price, and the time the camper must spend working. And its copyable too so you can create a whole little leaf rakin' workforce if you want too :).

I put a couple of these out around my store if you want to check them out/demo or.. need a job xP.

This really cute old fashioned hay cart is loaded with 9 animations and poses to take great fall photos/or just hang out with on friends. All poses can be individually adjusted, and the cart will remember your positions-no poseballs.

This pack is loaded with a square haybale that contains 4 animations, a round haybale with 6 animations and 3 decorative pumpkins. Add some old time fall charm to your home/land! These objects are all copyable too.

Fall's Here!

Here at ANA_Mations fall is our favourite time of year. So you better believe we have lots of new releases planned for you in the next coming months.

One of the first fall inspired releases are these decorative and interactive leaf piles! Copy to place them all over your sims, mod to change their shapes up for variation. Line them along side paths and walkways. Also, a low natural sound will play and leaves will scatter when you walk through them! They are sold in individual colours and in a fatpack.

Next is the Scarecrow Buddy that was released late last night for Super Bargain Saturday. You can grab him for 60L up until 12SLT on Saturday, and then he'll return to his original price.

Since we've been slacking on posting the recent releases we've put out, I figured I would include them in this post for you all.

Both the backpacks and the lunchboxes come in a range of different colours and cute designs aswell as a TON of school/lunch necessities inside of them. They are completely menu driven and easy to use.

New Playground Releases!

This old style jungle gym has 12 poses in it for a great time monkeying around. Add it to your backyard for some fun, or onto an island park to encourage traffic!

I've played around on a lot of merry go rounds in SL.. this is the most fun ever. 10 animations to choose from including dragging along the ground. There is also a sculpted base for even landing on terrain, and a poseball with pushing animation. 5 different styles to choose from including tintable, strawberries, wooden, 45 adapter, and record.

This is SL.. don't stand around being so serious- have FUN!

Its getting even warmer in Summerland.. time for more outdoor fun!

Swings, Swingsets, Tire Swings, and Monkey Bars!

Monkey Bars-

Hang around with your friends on this 9 animation old school monkey bar set. It will hold up to 6 people at once and includes flips, penny drops, and the infamous penny fail. Are you brave enough to attempt the death drop tho?

Swings-

Each swing contains 5 fun animations and a smooth swing. They are menu driven with no poseballs, and the animations are adjustable for each person that sits on them.

More spring releases! Birds and lambs yay!

Spring always makes me think of a few things..

The Pretty Birds are one of them.
(shows the photo poses)

This photo is just to show you the detail on each bird. This little guy is the chickadee and there are 5 birds all together, including the robin, the canary, the bluebird and the summer tanager.

Each box contains 1 holdable bird, and 1 bird with a photography pose built in. If you click them, they will sing to you =) Touch them again and they will stop. The birds themselves are animated also and cock their heads as if talking to you. They are 250L each or 1k for the whole set, transferable for giving.. and very cute!

A few pre-released birds got these immediate comments:
"OMFG HOW CUTE!!!", "Omigosh Loooooookit himmmmm!", "I LOVE YOU FOREVER!", and "Your birds are =O!!!!"

Finally.. A New AO! ( in AO store )

Brand Spanking New ANA_Mations Photographers Chaise V2.0! (in photography store)

This is the base animation engine and chaise. It has 18 poses ( 9 female, 9 male ) and I'll be creating animation sets to drop in and add to the collection. There will be couples, friends, and fun pose packs for this chaise-compared to the originial which wasn't expandable. It is fully mod with color and texture changing options and I'll be building texture packs to help you further design this chaise any way you could imagine for your photography needs.

Pose Fair Charity Contribution:

ANA_Mations is proud to be a part of the 1st EVER Second Life Pose Fair! It will run from the 2nd-16th of April, and I hope to see you all come out and support Motivation - a mobility charity that works to help disabled people throughout the world in low income countries, who do not have access to other means of support. A mobility charity is so appropriate to the work we do within Second Life, and we hope you agree!

100% of the proceeds from the M.I.N.E 5 pose (pictured below) will go to the Motivation Charity. Its only L$250 and it will help benefit the lives of those who need your help.

Once the Pose Fair opens, we'll make an update post with the landmark to the ANA_Mation's booth at the fair. Take care everyone!

New Releases Including Roller Skates!

I have some new things for you this week!

First up.. Roller Skates! Yessss Roller Skates! There is two types, knee high rollers, and low top rollers. There are 6 different styles of HiTops, and 4 styles of LoTops. Sculpted, Resizable and the Tintable (pictured)version is you guessed it.. Recolorable!

They are also animated.. skate walk/run/crouch/crouch walk and turns.. made to work with your existing AO stands and including a special animation to load into your ZHAO II walks list so that you wont be walking on your roller skates..

There is a special version of the HighTop Skates called Starlight with stars and music notes but it is only available as a single purchase at the Shoe Fair. 100% of the sale from this pair of skates will go to the Toys for Tots foundation.

Next release!

Urban Action Poses. This set of 8 poses was especially made to work with the skates, but, they are poses and would certainly work without them also.

Next release!

The Paparazzi Camera has 3 built in stands that let you run, squat and shift around your model or SL celebrity to get the perfect shot from all angles! Cubism V2.0 Update!

In addition to the cubism set Surrealia already released acouple months ago, she has started on updates for each cube in the set! Today's release are Add-ons for cubes G and H which include 18 new poses that work great together (with cute peek-a-boo type poses) or separately for your photography needs. Secondly, all the cubism poses are now available in singles vendors on the Studio Equipment floor of the main store.

All new. This AO is fully featured, including 6 animated stands, object and ground sits, as well as a full fly set (up,down,forward,hover,jump,land)and overlay animations for walking,running,turning,crouch walking etc.Its springtime fun for the ladies, copyable and modifyable. The AO also comes with a basic gray parasol created by my lovely partner Faith Rosenberg. There are also 10 other fun springtime designs to choose from too. (Come see one on demo- they are lovely! And they are Faith's first real release so give her a hand plzkthx.) The parasols themselves are copy only, but resizable and built to be proportionate to your avatar body-meaning.. scale it up or down to your avatars size, and it wont look awkward.

Cubism for Photographers

Cubism.. the next generation of photography equipment for SL.
8 different cubes, 3 step-like, 3 for walls, 2 half walls, heads unlocked for directional positioning (except for just a couple which HAD to be locked). Menu Driven, Adjustable posing, and Pose Memorization. Modifyable- (go ahead and change texture and shape), Copyable- (add and subtract, mix and match, grab a new copy cause SL ate your last one), Expandable- so you can grab new add-on packs to make your photo studio the one with most to choose from. Low prim =P.

There are several sets to choose from. Individual blocks (one person at a time), Combined blocks (1 or 2 people at a time), and a Quad version that will pose 1,2,3,or 4 models at once.(Great for group shots!) 72 new poses in all, unlimited posing possibilities.

I've had several requests from store owners to come to Jabberwocky. Let me say first, its really an honor to have all the stores there now, and to see how many people still have a little bit of fantastical vision within them reguarding Lewis Carroll and Alice. I'm sure Carroll would be pleased to know that his story is still celebrated today!

So.. I was thinking about the Pawns .. and how really important they are in the game of chess. Sure, the larger pieces are prominant and get the most moves.. but the pawns are the tricky little warriors standing proud willing to risk all for the team. When thinking about this in reguards to what I wanted to accomplish with them, it reminds me of the stores that aren't necessarily EGL/Alice related, but couldn't resist making something Alice-y! There are several designers who've made these type of items or want to make something special in the honor of Alice.

Right now I have SIX Pawns on above ground Jabberwocky. I do not plan at this time to add more. I would like specially designed items in these Pawns. All stores on Jabberwocky are free of rent.. however.. I worked hard to ensure uniquely themed quality designs there, so I'll be allowing these shops by application only.

Who can be considered?
1) Those who already have shown some interest in Alice by some sort of previous work OR
2)Those who can prove interest in wanting to contribute AND can show good work examples in their particular area of design. ex. Jewelers who want to design a particular Alice themed crown but haven't yet.
3) Those who are willing to update their works approx. 2 times per year. (This sim is built on honoring Carrolls inspiration, not just free advertising for your store!)

Joining Jabberwocky does NOT mean that you have to be an EGL dress designer (in fact I'd prefer you weren't since I already have several of those on sim).. skinners.. avatar designers.. partical makers... builders.. you're all welcome to apply! The more unique the better!

If you meet these requirements, please send me a notecard with your store name/contact info. Please include why you'd like to be added to Jabberwocky, and why you believe you qualify as well as any photo examples of your content work (and/or what you think you are wanting to design if you haven't any Alice type content so far).

I'll be accepting applications until July 31st and then announce those accepted. Please don't get angry if you don't get accepted! With only 6 pawns, I am forced to narrow it down to the best I can offer Alice appreciators when they come thru the sim. Good luck!

On July 4th, 1862 Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, aka Lewis Carroll rowed along the Thames River with a little girl named Alice Liddell. In was in these afternoon hours that the story of Alice in Wonderland was born.

On July 4th, 1865 exactly 3 years from that afternoon, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was first published and released to the world.

Today, July 4th, 2008, 143 years later, Jabberwocky will be released unto the Second Life residents who still appreciate the visions of Wonderland that Carroll gave us all.

Jabberwocky is a unique island with 2 separate areas. Above ground, The Looking Glass Empire ruled by the stern Red Queen. And below ground, The Ruins of Wonderland, where the Royal Queen of Hearts has been laid to rest.

In keeping with tradition, Specially chosen EGL designers have been brought to the sim. Draconic Kiss, Silent Sparrow, Katat0nik, Edelweiss, Silver Rose, Red Queen Designs, and Violet Voltaire. (And The Loony Bin and Catnip as well because any real Alice fan knows how much she loved cats!)

Please join us at 2pm slt in celebrating Alice's Adventures today on Jabberwocky. Come explore the unfinished island, and come watch as it grows.

In June 2007, I started making AO's for myself and friends for fun. I didn't know that a year later, I'd have a store full of them and be getting ready to open my own island. I've had a ton of fun along the way, and I hope to think I'm getting a bit better. That said, my first AO's were pretty much entirely static so I've decided to start retiring them and replacing them with animated versions. The first set to retire is my EmotiveAO line. This is a set of 4 AO's. Confident, Mellow, Emo, and Shy, along with the full EmotiveAO that contains all 4 will be set 50% off for the next week only. After that, I'll be deleting them forever and replacing them with a new and better version of these systems. I made this little video for the KoinUP Second Life Music Video Contest. I had so much fun making this with close friends in places around SL that I love and thought should get some notice. I was really fortunate to work with Chicanery Turnbull of Koreshan fame on this incredible slide he made. Finally, instead of just animating the way you stand I got to animate the way you play also. He didn't really have the room to display this kick ass creation, so I've put it up at my main store for everyone to come have a look at. And seriously, you should!

This would be an excellent addition to all the little urban playgrounds around SL- replacing the plain old slides with something new and original and creative and well.. its the best slide in SL. Even the sandbox loves it ^^

Maybe its just me, but I thought there are just wayyy too many child av's in SL wearing adult-type AO's and it just... well... ewww. SO, I built the child av's a new AO system *Merry Christmas*. This is a full AO package (despite the pic above that only shows the stands), and its fully animated because as we all know, children, do not stand still. 5 stands.. 2 sits, walk, run, jump/fly/flyup/flydown/hover/crouch/crouch walk.. all of it. Some of the anims will work for regular adult av's if you are feeling young at heart_ like the walking on hands crouchwalk, the sits and some of the stands.. but, the anims were optimized for very small avatars so I recommend adults buy single anims instead and put them in your existing AO's.

In the AO are also 2 kiddie gestures, and a kiddie dance for extra fun ^_^

I have to say tho, that of all the ao's and poses etc I've built, this has been the most fun to create, and I've laughed a whole lot watching it in action lol. Enjoy :)

I released my KyootAO several weeks ago but didn't blog it because I was mid-move across country at the time. Ever since, I have been bombarded on a daily basis about the clothing I wore in my photoshoot. So many women have said "I have the KyootAO, now I need that Kyoot outfit!!" lol. SO... I thought I'd list all the items I wore in that photoshoot. I had spent an entire day shopping around SL for something to match Corduroy's so so SO cute leggings and that was the outfit I'd put together.

I know! You're going to get that voluptuous avie of yours down to my store and pick up some new AO poses for your bad self! After a request from Brandy Rasmuson who couldn't find enough AO poses to fit her avie, I decided to take 33 of my best selling AO stands and adjust them for the big girl av's of SL. Now, lets be real, not every single big girl avie in SL is going to fit every single one of these poses, however, it should be quite a bit easier than poses made for your typical supermodel figured type avies.

Oh Zhao 2 how I love thee!! Or should I say, Oh Zhao 2 how ALL MODELS should love thee! I created a SuperModel AO system for all the SL Fashion Models and Bloggers today. 10 stands, 2 sits. The best part about this AO, is that its not only full of great poses, at an even better price, but that if you are actually working as a model, you'll save yourself the trouble of typical AO styled photography problems such as: 1) Missing the pose you needed to capture and 2) Waiting for the AO to cycle thru the poses one at a time. In this AO system, you can go to the next pose with a click from the drop down menu, or simply freeze your pose in place so you/photographer doesn't have any waiting to do. Its easily the most simple way to strut your stuff on the SL catwalks, or just thru the virtual lands itself. Enjoy!

Color Changing Photographers Chaise

I have always wanted a beautiful old romantic style chaise for photography. Both in real world and in the virtual world, and finally .. FINALLY I have it! Well, in one world anyhow XD. I begged the hell out of two friends to help me accomplish this goal, Nectere Niven who is a great builder, and Lainy Voom who altho is still learning is sooo incredibly talented with lighting and textures. In the end we have created one incredibly gorgeous photographers chaise. Its menu driven, with 38 custom poses made especially for this chaise, adjustable avatar positioning, pose memorization, and 10 different colors to choose from. Its truely beautiful, not just functional.

And to my Update members, just 'cause I <3 you the most, Thursday ( Aug 23), I will be giving you a Sooper Sekkit landmark to an undisclosed location where you will be able to get this for half price for ONE DAY ONLY.

After I made my Music Box Dancer AO, I just couldn't stop creating those poses. Dancers have such beautiful and graceful movements its just mesmerizing. So, I created a 30 pose set of ballet and rhythmic gymnast styled poses for photography, art, and modeling purposes. Typical first post introduction coming up! Hi, I'm Surrealia. In all of SL there is only 2 Surrealia's, and they are both me *waves* I don't have separate accounts for anonymous reasons, just typical ones like when I started up my business I had too much crazy inventory on my first account so I switched to the other to keep things clean. Go ahead and giggle cause you you know that's not working so great either lol.

Anywhooo, I'm an SL animator, machinimist for the Sims 2, digital photographer, artist, typical Sagittarius and mother. I'm friendly, honest, I hate drama but like many I'm just as guilty of getting trapped in its webs. My avatar is unique, because I refuse to stand in a line with 100 other female avatars and look like the rest of them.

My goals with ANA_Mations is very simple really. It started because I was sick and tired of every female av jutting their hips and boobs, yawning and stretching, and generally looking bimbo-ish and just plain dumb. Tramp AO.. thats what I call it. A huge achievement in SL's beginnings, but, time to give the ladies in SL more variety. Something that better reflects their true personalities. I also like playtime AO's .. we all like to dress up differently from time to time and just have fun. That was the reasoning behind my Broken Doll, and Music Box Dancer AO. They aren't to be worn 24/7 everyday of your life in SL, (altho you most certainly can, I wouldn't stop you), but as a fun time AO.

I also have another motive for my work in ANA_Mations. Film. Both cinematic and photographic. I love artistic photography, and I've seen many great photo pieces from others in SL, and I want to help keep that moving along with hundreds of beautiful poses to choose from. The sky is not even a limit in SL, so the more choices one has to choose from, the more freedom the creative mind has as well. Eventually, the poses I have, will become long strings of fluid animations. They will be specifically slower and smooth for machinima directors to bring to life in their movies.
