Jabberwocky

On July 4th, 1862 Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, aka Lewis Carroll rowed along the Thames River with a little girl named Alice Liddell. In was in these afternoon hours that the story of Alice in Wonderland was born.

On July 4th, 1865 exactly 3 years from that afternoon, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was first published and released to the world.

Today, July 4th, 2008, 143 years later, Jabberwocky will be released unto the Second Life residents who still appreciate the visions of Wonderland that Carroll gave us all.

Jabberwocky is a unique island with 2 separate areas. Above ground, The Looking Glass Empire ruled by the stern Red Queen. And below ground, The Ruins of Wonderland, where the Royal Queen of Hearts has been laid to rest.

In keeping with tradition, Specially chosen EGL designers have been brought to the sim. Draconic Kiss, Silent Sparrow, Katat0nik, Edelweiss, Silver Rose, Red Queen Designs, and Violet Voltaire. (And The Loony Bin and Catnip as well because any real Alice fan knows how much she loved cats!)

Out With The Old...

And IN with the new! The original EmotiveAO is officially gone, off shelves, and deleted from inventory. But.. the new animated versions are up =D. The new versions are very subtly animated, small movements, breathing, natural. The individual AO's are $L650 (only 150 more for the animated version than the original) and the big 4 in 1 EmotiveAO is $L1800 (Only L300 more than the original and a savings of $L800 over buying each pack separately-which is actually a bigger savings than the original even =D )

AO Retirement Sale

In June 2007, I started making AO's for myself and friends for fun. I didn't know that a year later, I'd have a store full of them and be getting ready to open my own island. I've had a ton of fun along the way, and I hope to think I'm getting a bit better. That said, my first AO's were pretty much entirely static so I've decided to start retiring them and replacing them with animated versions. The first set to retire is my EmotiveAO line. This is a set of 4 AO's. Confident, Mellow, Emo, and Shy, along with the full EmotiveAO that contains all 4 will be set 50% off for the next week only. After that, I'll be deleting them forever and replacing them with a new and better version of these systems. To be clear, that will make the smaller single packs L250 per AO, and the full EmotiveAO version with all 4 packs L750. So if you haven't grabbed these yet, now is your chance for a big savings :D

I made this little video for the KoinUP Second Life Music Video Contest. I had so much fun making this with close friends in places around SL that I love and thought should get some notice. I know the music choice isn't everyones favorite, and its really not even my general genre lol, but, I hope it makes you smile. And it certainly made me want to film again.

Sims used: Silent, SiniStyle, Scion City, Koreshan.. and The Far Away (which should be its own sim!)

Only The Cool Kids Will Have This!

I was really fortunate to work with Chicanery Turnbull of Koreshan fame on this incredible slide he made. Finally, instead of just animating the way you stand I got to animate the way you play also. He didn't really have the room to display this kick ass creation, so I've put it up at my main store for everyone to come have a look at. And seriously, you should!

This would be an excellent addition to all the little urban playgrounds around SL- replacing the plain old slides with something new and original and creative and well.. its the best slide in SL. Even the sandbox loves it ^^
