/on drama

Some people will try anything to rip you off and then give you a bad name all at once. I love my customers, I try hard to keep them happy. So, this, just seems so uncalled for.

[15:16] Vyxxen Vale: Hello, I was buying animations in your store and it took my money and got no animations, the system delivered a message stating"we are unable to transfer the process is stale"
[15:17] Vyxxen Vale: I think you will see I have paid you 600 lindens and have received no animations
[15:20] Surrealia Anatine: ok well.. i only see 300.. and then i tried to refresh and the linden transaction page died and said its down for maintence :\ so i cant honestly do anything until it shows up. But if you want to tell me which animations you didn't get, i'll put in on a notecard and send them to you as soon as it shows up

[15:24] Surrealia Anatine: alright, well, despite your rudeness, i'll make a notecard and as soon as the linden transactions show up, i'll send them to you
[15:24] Surrealia Anatine: there is obviously something wrong with transactions in some areas, thats not my stores fault
[15:25] Vyxxen Vale: My rudeness, I run two sims, and have to refund or give customers their items to keep them coming back, i trust their word as they stand in my stores

[15:26] Surrealia Anatine: then you should know all about how people need there transaction numbers. If you can see them, i'd be happy to send them to you. I can't for whatever reason with the Lindens. Its not that I dont want too.. its that I can't see the transactions.
[15:27] Vyxxen Vale: I do not look for transactions, I want happy customers, and I want them to return and buy more I do not make them wait when they spent their money
[15:27] Surrealia Anatine: well, i like happy customers too, and usually when linden labs go down they are much more understanding
[15:29] Vyxxen Vale: Usually a dealer when messaged as the person stands in their store on their animations block still waiting for something they bought, does nto hesitate to make sure they come back, but instead you act like i am some liar over a few animations and not give me the product i PAID for this is nto ebay with a three week shipping period
[15:31] Surrealia Anatine: and usually the transaction list doesn't go down so i never have to ask anyone to wait either. I'll be happy to send them as soon as its fixed.
[15:31] Vyxxen Vale: It is alright I will get on all of my characters and announce to my thousands of friends that you are a thief and will not give me 5 lousy animations because your a untrusting soul who thinks i am standing in your store for no reason at all

[15:33] Surrealia Anatine: i think you're going unnecessarily overboard and being dramatic about this. You'll get your product, as soon as i can see that it was actually bought. I have lots of very happy customers who've had problems and they've always been very kind about transactions messing up

[15:34] Surrealia Anatine: no where did i call you a theif. not once. i only said i couldnt send anything until the transaction history shows back up.

[15:35] Vyxxen Vale: Now A Refund , or better yet my product would be what I would deliver if I had a customer obviously upset by the way you are trying as a product dealer handling things
[15:37] Surrealia Anatine: the transaction list is back up, i still can only see 2 purchases. Maybe your list can show something different?

[15:38] Surrealia Anatine: you said the product is what you'd give? if you are a business owner, i dont see why you find it so difficult to just show me your transaction history and i'd send what youre missing right to you now?

Did I send her the 300.. yes.. did anything beyond that ever show up in my transaction history, no... would she show me hers? .. no.. did she harass my customers?.. yes!

So, just in case someone wants to get ugly, let me just clear this nonsense up publicaly now. I would never treat my customers poorly or not send them their items, and also.. ugh wtf, why be like that? I guess I'm still just a noobie store owner and thought everyone is SL just wants to be honest. Shame on me.

On a happy note.. I have sooooo much new stuff on its way for you all, I promise, its BIG so it takes awhile to make! xD

omgosh...she was insane..so if I read correctly...she will just give anyone anything they ask for, to keep them happy?? Sounds like an invitation for exploitation. Hey everyone..head on over!!! LOL I'm sure her "thousands" of friends are very aware of the drama queen issues.

2. You should take as much care in your business as you did doctoring up our conversation, and even added smilies, how cute.
3. No you did nto show me ANY transactions, and you left out quite a bit of what was said.
4. Drama? You are pure drama and a very untrusting person. This is a game firstly, if you fear so many people will rip you off then why even play?
5. This is a breach of TOS and now reported.
6. To the one calling me insane and making fun out of my policy of trusting my customers, *cheers* to you because Lindens come and they go, friends and customers stay if I am trusting of them. Hi, SL Mentor here, *waves*. From our volunteer guidelines:

"Using the Mentor title for intimidation/power purposes. Threats of "I know many Lindens so you better do this or that.." are not acceptable."

I can't get in-world to verfy if she is a mentor or not but you can still report her to the VTeam and if she is indeed a current mentor, they will handle it.

To think just a few days ago there were transaction issues I wasn't aware of and I was so impressed at how helpful you were when I didn't receive my product right away. You resolved things immediately, I've never known a store owner to have such responsive customer support as you.

I believe the rule about posting pricate IM logs applies ONLY inside SL and on the SL forums. LL has no jurisdiction over personal blogs. So nice try.

Anna get all your friends to continue your drama? If we want to do so we can carry this on, I will call Linden labs tomorrow and ask them if you posted any transaction forms to me, or better yet see if i can pay extra to have our little convo brought up? but your a old pro aren't ya? that ishow you handle things, someone gets upset with you and you try and turn your friends loose on them in game and in here, it does not matter to me i have more peace in my heart then to let you get to me like that. I could do the same as you and message my friends and say ohh hey go to this blog and spam someone , but I won't this just proves me all the more right, your not a trusting person, and i will pray this eve that you mend inside, please do not do this to others, Karma is a bad thing...god bless

holy omg.. I didn't doctor a single thing.. not ONE single thing.. and I didn't see any smiles?,you threatened to make me out to be something I am not, and lead my customers astray and believe it or not, it actually sorta hurt. However, I'm in this business for things much more precious to me than you, so you can carry on your drama as you see fit. But, I wanted both my customers, and fellow store owners to see the likes of you by your own words. You can hide behind them, and say I "doctored things up" but everyone can see right thru it, right down to the way you just spoke to the people above you. You can't hide that sort of bitterness behind lies.

I'm not a friend of ana's in fact I haven't bought anything from her.

All transactions were screwed up. I couldn't but free stuff today, I kept getting a message I didn't have enough money. It happened on a couple of different sims.

I was in ETD and couldn't buy anything there. And I knew exactly what happened -- SL messed up.

If you are a SL Mentor you should know what was going on was a problem with Second Life.

I'm not a friend of Ana's either, nor do I know her in any way, shape or form. Her blog is on th blog feeds and I happened to read it there. Your threat to use your Mentor status to villify her as a retailer over the incident caught my eye, hence my reply.

I'm not sure how long you have been a Mentor, or if you bothered to pay attention in Orientation when they went over the Tao of the Volunteer, but you should full well know that being a Mentor doesn't give you any sort of special power or privilege over other residents, nor does it give you special access to Linden employees that other residents wouldn't have as well, and that asserting such can be grounds for suspension from the Mentor program.

This is what I mean about customers misunderstanding the fact that we work hard yes... and we try to please you to our best ability... but when it comes to money... you gotta be paitnece and kind or else you gunna see that i can be a bitch as well :D Just my opinon lol! Good job on being so nice Ana... I woulda flipped just cause she sounds like an irgnorant drama whore... who was just lashing out at you because she's a shit disturber. Again my opinon :/

Surr, I'm sorry this kind of nonsense goes on and particularly by "mentors" who are misusing the good intentions of the rest of the SL volunteers.

To the customer: You said this is a game. Wrong. If you want to define SL in any way, the best way would be a platform. Treating SL as a game where you can dump the rules and morality of real life is not the most mature approach. Though in virtual form, all people and businesses are very real. We are not some sort of pixelated speaking artificial intelligences wondering around to entertain you. For many, SL business is their actual income in real life. SL and rl are very closely connected.
Now in this light you should understand that as in real life businesses have certain code of conducts, so does SL. Checking transactions is not a sign of distrust, it is just a regular rule to protect both the customer and the shop owner. Rebelling against that shows lack of respect towards the creator.
I do wish that people would think about it for a little while and figure out that both in rl and in SL, same ethics apply and in both worlds first and foremost, respect others and they will respect you.

And no, I also don't know Surrealia.

What if this were a real life transaction? What if a person walked into a store, purchased something. Then they turn around and tell the clerk/cashier, "hey I was overcharged for this", or "I bought this but I don't have it in my bag." So the cashier naturally asks to see their receipt for information on what the item was and how much was paid for it right? What if the customer refuses to show the cashier the receipt? Have you ever been in a store where the cashier would just open up the register and say, sorry, here is the money you say we owe you? It's just ridiculous. Even if it was an error on the store's end (price being incorrectly listed in the computer, the bag boy overlooked putting the item in the bag, etc.), they're not just going to give away their money or products without proof of purchase. It's just common sense. Sheesh.

Guuuh.

I had a customer write a bunch of BS at me too claiming he spent way more than he did. He wouldn't look up the trans #s and it turned out he did not spend the amount he wanted refunded.

I basically said, there was no record of it and I hate liars and then after giving him his stuff I banned him. If people are going to be dishonest, you don't need their business. Asking for a trans# is just asking for their receipt.

On the few occasions where I did not recieve my product due to problems with transactions I simply left a notecard for the store owner with my transactions and the store owners always promptly gave me my products. This is text book way how to NOT handle such a situation. I must compliment you Anna because you are far nicer than I would ever be with someone like that!

Geeez, anyone who's been shopping in SL recently has noticed these "transaction is stale" notices. That means you DIDN'T BUY IT, the transaction didn't go through! Hence no transaction number in history.

It's wise for anyone who goes shopping to watch your balance before purchasing!

Wow. I am so happy I haven't had this happen to me yet, but I can imagine it's in the future. And Noam is right! Asking for transaction numbers is exactly like asking for a receipt. No store would refund your purchases without a receipt -- plain and simple. It's simple common knowledge of everyday life. This person, mentor or not, is purely a troll.
